INTRAMURAL

When I was in 1^st year college, I was one of those students who go to school for just the attendance in Intramural, since it is a requirement to be present and cheer our representatives. I go early to school to catch the 1^st attendance then wait for a veeery long time for the last attendance for the day. It is fun when you are with your friends but you need to have extra extra money, because you will always eat and eat and eat but others go drink! :D

One of the requirements of NS1 or Natural Science subject is attending the field trip. We had our field trip at Samal Island. Together with other class we observe the natural beauty of the sea as our teacher refreshed the lessons in our classroom with what we saw. We enjoy the view especially that we are also learning.

After the discussion and sightseeing, we had our lunch at Kaputian Resort. There we swim and play with my classmates and schoolmates. Too bad we only have one day for the field trip, so before the darkness come, we traveled to Davao and go on our ways.

THE STARTING POINT

Holycross of Davao College located at Sta. Ana Avenue, Davao City is a place where I spent my college years . It was May 2010 when I first entered this institution. As it was my first time, I observe the surroundings. A great place, clean and green. There are many students who are busy taking subjects in a bulletin board, girls who are playing volleyball (varsity players, i think so), and others waiting for their turn for the enrollment.

As I wait for my turn, I was hoping to be part of block section from my department so I could adjust easily. Unfortunately, I never admitted to any. So i need to be an international student (as what they call students who just attend official class in different sections) and befriend all my classmate from different sections.

Since I have different classmates in all my subjects, I notice that every group is different. There is a noisy group, a serious ones, and a fun group. Every time I enter a class, it was really awkward as  we are only few who don't belong to a section and the group are very close. However, I still try to socialize with them. And as time goes by, I've got tons of friends from different section that will not anymore make me  "forever alone" in any class (fun, right? :)) And that what makes my first year a great one. :D
